Location: Prosper, TX (On-Site)
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM-5:00 PM
Compensation: $50,000 - $75,000

About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented Legal Administrative Assistant to support a busy legal practice in Prosper, Texas. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, takes pride in accuracy, and enjoys managing multiple priorities at once. The successful candidate will be technologically savvy, personable, and comfortable communicating professionally with attorneys, court personnel, and other legal professionals.

This is a fully in-office position offering a collegial, friendly work environment with a predictable schedule and minimal overtime requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage high-volume email communications and correspondence
  • Format, proofread, and prepare legal documents using Microsoft Word
  • Handle extensive PDF creation, editing, organization, and management
  • Maintain and manage attorney calendars, deadlines, court dates, and scheduling
  • Communicate with opposing counsel, court clerks, and other legal contacts as needed
  • Track and prioritize multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
  • Ensure all work is completed accurately and with exceptional attention to detail
  • Provide general administrative and legal support to the attorney and office

Qualifications

  • Exceptional attention to detail with a commitment to producing error-free work
  • Strong computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Outlook
  • Experience working extensively with PDF documents and document management systems
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Professional communication skills and confidence interacting with legal professionals and court personnel
  • Self-motivated, dependable, and able to work independently
  • Prior legal administrative or legal assistant experience preferred, but not required for highly qualified candidates
